エレン：もうひとつ別の仕事でやりたいのはベビーシッターなのよね？
Ellen: And you also want to babysit? Is that another job you are looking to do?

パリス：ええ、子供が大好きなの。
Paris: Yeah. I love kids.

エレン：ベビーシッターをしたことはあるの？
Ellen: You love kids. And have you been babysitting?

パリス：ときどき従兄の子供たちの面倒を見るわ。
Paris: Well I sometimes take care of my cousin's.

エレン：Trillionを一緒に考えた子？
Ellen: The one that you told, is The Trillion there?

パリス：いいえ、彼はもう１９歳なの（笑）
Paris: No, he's actually 19.

エレン：オーケー、あなたが面倒を見てる子たちは幾つなのかしら？
Ellen: Okay. So, how old are your consins that you are babysitting?

パリス：ええと、彼らは私の従兄の子供たちで、ディーディーが３歳、ブライスも同い年ね。
（ベビーシッターの仕事では）生まれたばかりの小さな子たちの面倒を見たいの。
Paris: Well, they are my cousin's children. So, DeeDee is like three. And so is Bryce. And I want to take care of the little babies that were just born recently.

エレン：あなたに任せられるのね？
Ellen: And they can let you do that?

パリス：わからないわ（笑）
Paris: I don't know.

エレン：時給は幾ら？
Ellen: How much were your charge?

パリス：一時間１０ドル。
Paris: Probably 10 bucks an hour.

エレン：ベビーシッターの相場ね？
興味深いわね、皆、あなたは働く必要なんてないんじゃないかと思うでしょうけど、あなたは働いてお金を稼ぎたいのね。それを聞いて皆驚くと思わない？
Ellen: Is that the going rate for babysitters, 10 bucks an hour? That's good. And so I think that's interesting. People would think that you don't have to work obviously. But you wanna work and you wanna earn money. Do you think that sounds, people would be surprised?

パリス：いいえ、そんなことないと思うわ。
Paris: No, I don't think so.

エレン：私はそう思うわ。あなたは学校にも通ってるのよね？ずっと学校に通っていたの？それともしばらくホームスクールだったのかしら。
Ellen: I think so. .. And also you go to school, right? And have you always gone to school or you homeschool for a while.

パリス：長い間ホームスクールだったから、Buckleyに通うことになったときは嬉しかったの。
Paris: I was homeschool for long time. And it sounds great when I went to my school Buckley.

エレン：学校は楽しい？
Ellen: And how are you enjoying school?

パリス：ええ。全く違う経験が出来ていると思う。
Paris: I love it. It's definitely different experience.

エレン：学校の人たちは…　彼らはあなたを特別扱いするのか、それとも…あなたは普通の生活を送れていると思う？
Ellen: Are people there.. do they treat you differently or do they.. do you feel like you have a very regular childhood.

パリス：ええ、私は本当に普通の生活が出来ているし、同じように扱われていると思う。Buckleyに入った時、誰も私のことがわからなかったから、「やった！普通になれるチャンスだわ！」って思ったの。
Paris: I do have like a regular childhood. I mean, I'm treated like the same. When I came Buckley they didn't know who I was and I thought "Yes! I got a chance to be normal!"

エレン：それはあなたがずっとマスクをしていたからよね。マスクをしているとき、こう思った？つまり、明らかにあなたのパパはあなた達を守ろうと、いつも通りの生活や外出が出来るようにマスクをさせていたと思うけど、でも、マスクをしていることで変だなとは感じなかった？
Ellen: And they didn't know who you were because you used to wear masks all the time. And when you wear the mask, do you remember thinking, cause obviously your dad did that to protect you so nobody would know who you are and you can go out and have a regular life. But do you remember wearing a mask, this is kind of weird?

パリス：ええ。「ばかみたい。何で私はマスクをしてるの？」って思ったわ。でも、大きくなるにつれて、パパは私たちのためにしてくれてるんだって分かったし、パパもそう説明してくれたから。
Paris: Yeah, (I thought) "this is stupid, why am I wearing a mask?" But yeah, I can realize the older I got, he only tried to protect us, and he explained that to us, too.

エレン：そうね。
そして、あなたは彼がマイケル・ジャクソンだって知っていたの？つまり、彼がどういう人か、わかっていたのかしら。もちろん最初は彼はただのパパだったでしょうけど、ある時点で、世界一のポップスターだって気付いて驚いたんじゃないかしら。
Ellen: Right. And did you know he was Michael Jackson? I mean, did you have any idea that your dad was who he was, I mean obviously not early on cause he's just your dad. But then it's some point did you go "Oh my god he's like"... you know, the most amazing pop star in the world.

パリス：本当に小さかった時はただ、ああ、パパはいくつか曲を出してるんだ、ぐらいにしか思っていなくて、誰でもそうするものだと思っていたの。
Paris: When I was really little I didn't know that. Like, I just thought like, oh yeah he's got a few songs out but I figured everyone did that.

エレン：ええと、ほとんどの人は彼ほどは出してないわね。（会場笑）彼のカタログはすばらしいけど、全部知っているの？全部観たことがあるの？
Ellen: Yeah, he has more songs than most of people. When you think of his catalogue, it's pretty amazing. Do you, like, know all of his stuff all of.. Have you watched everything?

パリス：パパの曲は全部暗記しているわ。
Paris: I know all of his songs by heart.

エレン：全部の曲を。特にお気に入りはある？
Ellen: Every one of the songs. Do you have a favorite song of his?

パリス：選ぶのは難しいわ。私の頭の99%は彼の音楽だから。
Paris: That's really tough. 99% of my brain is his music.

エレン：本当に。
Ellen: Really.

パリス：ええ。パパの曲全般。
Paris: His music in general.

エレン：マイケル・ジャクソンとビヨンセの他には何を聴くのかしら？
Ellen: And what do you listen to other than Michael Jackson and Beyonce, what kind of music do you listen to?

パリス：クリス・ブラウン、マインドレス・ビヘイビア、リアーナ、コールド・プレイ、、様々なジャンルを聴くの。
Paris: Well I love Chris Brown, I listen to Mindless Behavior, Rhianna, Cold Play, I have several different categories that I like to listen to.

エレン：あなたは大の音楽ファンなのね。でも演技の方面に行くのね。でも私は、あなたはいつかシンガーになるんじゃないかと思うわ。
Ellen: So you are a big music fan. And yet you are going acting. I think you gonna end up going singing as well. I predict.
